Yeah, I liked that possibility, too. It would have been nice if it had been like that. Nice job with the colouring especially! You've to be just slightly more careful with your contours: they're a bit fuzzy and it ruins such a nice work. Perhaps you may use even a simple pen to trace out the contours after you've done with the pencils.
